Call for Papers: Volume 1, Number 2 (December 2026)

English Language Instruction Studies (ELIS) is pleased to announce a Call for Papers for Volume 1, Number 2, scheduled for publication in December 2026. Following the publication of its inaugural issue in June 2026, ELIS continues its commitment to providing a scholarly platform for high-quality research, innovative perspectives, and evidence-based practices in English language education and related fields.

We welcome original scholarly manuscripts addressing areas within the journal’s Focus and Scope, including English language teaching and learning, language skills and competencies, applied linguistics in language education, language assessment and evaluation, curriculum and materials development, teacher education and professional development, technology-enhanced language learning, and other relevant issues and emerging developments in English language education.

All submitted manuscripts will undergo an editorial screening and peer-review process in accordance with the journal’s editorial policies and publication ethics. Prospective authors are encouraged to carefully review the Author Guidelinesand use the official ELIS Article Template before submitting their manuscripts through the journal’s online submission system.

ELIS warmly welcomes contributions from researchers, educators, academics, and practitioners who wish to contribute to this inaugural issue. Through its first and subsequent publications, ELIS seeks to foster meaningful scholarly dialogue, broaden the dissemination of research, and contribute to the continuing development of English language education at national and international levels.
